Oliver Schaper

Oliver Schaper is a Principal, Design Director, and Practice Leader for Cities + Urban Design at Gensler, where responsibilities include overseeing planning and urban design projects, as well as architectural designs throughout the U.S. In addition to his role at Gensler, Oliver serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute within the Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design. Previously, Oliver held the position of Visiting Lecturer at The Cooper Union from 2008 to 2014. Oliver completed a Dipl.-Ing. in Architecture at Technische Universität Darmstadt and also studied at Università degli Studi di Firenze in 1990-1991.
