Charles is a Member of the Board of Directors of Genstar portfolio companies ACA Group, AmeriLife, Cerity Partners, Mercer Advisors and Orion. He is also chairman of FinTech Evolution Acquisition Group and a board member of the American Mountain Guides Association.

Prior to joining the Genstar SAB, Charles was President & CEO of former Genstar portfolio company AssetMark, Inc., a leading independent provider of innovative investment and consulting solutions serving financial advisors. Prior to joining AssetMark, Charles was a senior advisor to Bain & Company, Genstar and several private equity firms focused on the financial services space. Charles was also President of Fidelity Investments, Custody & Clearing; EVP and head of Schwab Institutional; President of Paramount Farms, Inc., and President of Paramount Citrus Association. He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Bloomberg, InvestmentNews, RIABiz, Financial Advisor magazine, Financial Advisor IQ, and WealthManagement.com.

Among other boards in the financial services industry, Mr. Goldman was Chairman of the Board of Personal Capital Corporation.
