Liz Coley is the Chief Compliance Officer of Genstar Capital, responsible for regulatory compliance and risk management. She joined Genstar in 2021.
Liz has worked as a compliance consultant for Genstar since 2011, providing regulatory compliance services to the firm. Liz was the Founder and CEO of ComplianceRX LLC assisting private equity firms, hedge funds and algorithmic brokers with compliance from 2005 to 2021. Prior to that, Liz was the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel at Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, Regulatory Counsel at Instinet, and Associate at the law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. Liz began her career at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington DC where she served as Senior Counsel and Branch Chief.
