Harry Grieve

Co-founder at Gensyn

Harry Grieve is a data scientist and entrepreneur who co-founded Gensyn, a deep tech startup, in 2020. Prior to that, they were a member of the LD14 cohort at Entrepreneur First, where they built Gensyn and raised venture capital.

Before their work with EF, Harry was the CTO and co-founder of a stealth startup where they built the back and front end for a skincare product recommender system. Harry also spent three years as the Director of Data Research at Cytora, leading the data team from Seed to Series B. There, they used machine learning algorithms to acquire and model sparse commercial insurance data.

Harry has also worked as a data science consultant for the Rhode Island Innovative Policy Lab and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Brown University. Harry began their career as an analyst at Kames Capital.

Harry Grieve has a Master of Public Affairs from Brown University and a MA in Economics and Finance from the University of Aberdeen. Harry also has certification from Actineo Consulting LLP in Agile Certification, BeLiminal in Lean Kanban Foundation Training (2 Days), Mary Gober International Ltd in Treating Customers Fairly, Thomson Reuters in Thomson Reuters Eikon Dastream Certification, The Scottish Government in 200 Hour Saltire Award, Cisco in IT Essentials: Hardware and Software, and IT Governance Ltd in Certified EU GDPR Foundation Training.
