Aaron Sarma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and venture development. Currently serving as General Partner at ScaleUp Malaysia since July 2019, Aaron facilitates regional expansion and revenue growth for emerging companies. As a co-founder of Remote Ventures since October 2020, Aaron supports entrepreneurs through a unified tech stack and seed funding, having empowered five ventures in the past two years. Additional roles include Digital Ecosystem at Gentari, Board Member at Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia, and Member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM). Previously, Aaron held significant positions at AirAsia, including Non-Executive Director of AirAsia Superapp and Chief Operating Officer of both AirAsia Superapp and BIG Loyalty. Aaron's entrepreneurial journey began with founding Vidi in 2015, a travel platform streamlining holiday customization. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Aalto University, a BBA from HELP University, and a certificate in Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies from Stanford University.
