Octavian Partenie

Octavian Partenie is currently the H2 Technology Expert at Gentari, where responsibilities include evaluating technical solutions in water electrolysis, methane pyrolysis, and ammonia cracking, alongside identifying innovation and investment opportunities. Previously, Partenie served as a Hydrogen Technology Specialist at Howden, managing regional growth plans and providing training on hydrogen applications. Prior experience includes roles as Senior System Design Engineer at Vattenfall, Energy Transition Consultant at TNO, and Process Engineer for Fluor Corporation. Early career roles include Hydroprocessing Technologist and Process Engineer at Shell Nederland Raffinaderij, and a design engineering trainee at DSM Engineering Plastics. Partenie holds a PDEng in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
