Before joining Gentex Corp, Karen worked at Verizon from 2019 to 2023. Karen held various roles, including Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, where they led the finance organization and was responsible for consolidated Capex and Opex results, strategy, and planning. Prior to this, they served as Associate Director, responsible for IT data center strategy and transformation, and also held the role of Chief of Staff and Senior Manager for data center operations.
Karen's earlier experience includes their tenure at Prudential Financial, where they worked from 1994 to 2019. During their time at Prudential, they held several key roles, including VP of Financial Planning and Analysis, Director of Finance - Planning & Analysis, Pricing & Financial Analysis Manager, Education Specialist for Retirement Planning, and Client Service Representative.
Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated strong financial planning and analysis skills, leadership in driving strategic initiatives, and expertise in managing data center operations.
Karen Bianchi received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Scranton in 1995. In 1998, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from the same institution, which they completed in 2002. In 1993, they briefly studied Spanish Language and Literature at the SAIIE (Spanish American Institute of International Education).
