Zach Erno

Zach Erno is a highly experienced research manager and scientist with a strong background in chemistry and materials science. Currently serving as Research Manager at Gentex Corporation since February 2016, Zach provides scientific support for strategic business decisions and manages external engagements for testing and validation programs. Previous roles include Research Scientist and Research Chemist at Gentex Corporation, as well as positions at Northwestern University, SWITCH Materials, and Cascade Catalysts Inc., where Zach focused on designing and synthesizing novel materials and conducting extensive research on electrochromic devices, photochromic dyes, and catalysts. Zach holds an MBA from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an MSc in Chemistry from Simon Fraser University, and a BSc in Biochemistry from Arizona State University.
