Dr. Klaus Beetz

Dr. Klaus Beetz is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Vice President of Applications Engineering Europe at Gentherm since January 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Beetz was President Automotive Europe at Alfmeier Präzision SE from June 2016 to August 2023 and held the position of COO and member of the Executive Board at Eberspächer Climate Control Systems GmbH & Co.KG, overseeing the Climate Control Systems Division from January 2012 to May 2016. Additional roles include Managing Director at Eberspächer Catem GmbH, Head of Development at Mahle Filtersysteme GmbH, Head of Research and Development at David & Baader GmbH, Director of Sales and Marketing at Catem GmbH, and Head of Laboratory and Advanced Development at David & Baader GmbH. Dr. Beetz began an academic career as a Research Assistant at the University of Karlsruhe (TH). Educationally, Dr. Beetz earned a Doctor Engineer degree and a Diploma in Physics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
