Joel Waxman

Joel Waxman serves as the Vice President of Advanced Manufacturing at Gentherm since May 2018, leading efforts in technological progress for product, process, and equipment development across various divisions, including Battery Performance Systems and Medical. Previously, from January 2016 to May 2018, Joel held the position of Executive Director for Global Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at A123 Systems, where the focus was on developing and launching rechargeable batteries for automotive and industrial applications. Joel's earlier experience includes significant roles at Harman International, where responsibilities ranged from advanced manufacturing engineering to leading product development teams for automotive products. Joel's career began at Motorola, where contributions to product lines and process engineering were notable. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, obtained in 1995.
