Michael Holst

Michael Holst has an extensive career in urban planning and architecture, currently serving as the Head of Planning and Building Authority at Gentofte Kommune since December 1999, while also fulfilling the role of Planchef and faglig leder in Plan og Byg. Previous experience includes positions as an architect and town planner with Hvidovre Kommune from April 1993 to December 1999 and Københavns Kommune from October 1983 to March 1993. Between 2002 and 2006, Michael Holst contributed as a board member of FAB - Foreningen Af Byplanlæggere. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from KADK - Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole, completed from 1975 to 1982, along with secondary education at Øregård Gymnasium and Bakkegårdsskolen.
