Gina Schroeder

Board Member at Gentry Foundation for Autism

Gina has been married to her husband Brian since 2006 and has 2 children. Her daughter Haley is 9 years old and her son Brendan is 4 years old. Although she is a mother first, she is also the owner of her own business. As a professional makeup artist, she primarily focuses on wedding makeup. She recognizes that her children are her world and that they come first and that she will do anything to make sure her children are healthy and safe. Her youngest son, Brendan, was diagnosed with autism at the young age of 13 months. She and her husband began intensive behavioral therapy for him and his family from the time he was diagnosed. “IIII knew that getting him early intervention was extremely crucial. He has made an absolute difference in the autism journey thus far. After only 3 years of therapy and only at the age of 4, he can do what he wants with typical children.IIII know without early intervention he would never be where he is today." Gina is proud to be a board member and secretary of The Gentry Foundation, and hopes that her diligence and thoughtfulness, as well as her knowledge gained in navigating the system for her son, will prove as beneficial to other children as it has been to her.
