Brittany L. Mountjoy

Brittany L. Mountjoy serves as a Litigation Associate at Gentry Locke since September 2022, following a similar role at Friedman, Framme & Thrush from November 2021 to August 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Deputy Colorado State Public Defender from April 2019 to May 2021 and a Research Fellow for the Project on Addressing Prison Rape at American University Washington College of Law from September 2017 to February 2019. Brittany also interned with the Judge Advocate Corps, U.S. Navy, in the RLSO NDW Trial Department during the summer of 2018 and managed Legislative & Regulatory Affairs at SOCMA from March 2016 to August 2017. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from American University Washington College of Law, a Master of Science in Science and Technology Studies, and dual Bachelor degrees in Animal and Poultry Sciences and International Studies, all from Virginia Tech.
