Ryan Gibson

Ryan Gibson began their work experience as a System Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2003, where they led the effort to define operational command plans for Space Based Infrared Systems. Ryan then transitioned to a role as a High Performance Computing Software Engineer, designing and implementing signal processing applications for a distributed ground processing system using C++, Java, and MATLAB. Later, they became a Full Stack Software Engineer at the company, leading the architecture, design, and implementation of a meta-search backend capable of serving millions of ad impressions per day.

In 2014, Ryan joined Clicktripz as a Full Stack Software Engineer and later assumed the role of Director of Engineering. During their tenure, they oversaw the migration of the company's backend infrastructure to an elastic, autoscaling stack, revamped the ETL pipeline, and saved $30k/month in server costs. Ryan also led the migration of the company's monolithic ad tech stack to Kubernetes and established a Data Lake capable of storing terabytes of analytics data, resulting in significant cost savings.

In 2022, Ryan joined Gentry Professional Services as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), responsible for defining and implementing the company's strategic technical objectives and bringing container native technologies to the embedded ecosystem. Ryan established a software organization within the company, provided software services ranging from architecture design to full-stack implementations, and designed an extensible open architecture-based middleware to meet program objectives on an embedded platform.

Currently, Ryan Gibson is the CEO and Co-Founder of Kuberkai, a position they have held since 2022.

Ryan Gibson attended Harvey Mudd College from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
