David W. served as the Chief Executive Officer of Gentuity, a medical technology firm focused on intravascular diagnostics. David W. was responsible for advancing patient care and expanding the utility of intravascular procedural guidance tools. As the President of New England Cell Therapeutics, Inc., they led the company's operations. David W. also served as the Immediate Past Chair of the Executive Committee at MassMEDIC, the largest regional medtech association in the United States. Additionally, they worked as an EIR at RA Capital Management, where they provided expertise and guidance. David's experience also includes serving as the President of LightLab Imaging Corporation, where they led the growth, sale, and integration of the company with St. Jude Medical. David W. also served as the Chairman, President & CEO of LightLab Imaging, where they successfully launched an intracoronary imaging system and led the company to be acquired by St. Jude Medical. Before that, they held the role of Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Viacor and TransMedics. David W. was also an LLC Partner at LightLab Imaging, where they played a key role in commercializing high-resolution catheter-based technologies. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Global Marketing at HP's Imaging Systems Division, where they achieved the number one market share position in ultrasound. With their extensive experience, David W. Kolstad has made significant contributions to the medical technology industry.
David W. Kolstad received their MBA in Business Strategy and Marketing from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 1990. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a BS with Distinction in Chemical Engineering.
