John Kummailil has a strong background in operations and engineering, with the majority of their career spent at Boston Scientific. John joined Boston Scientific in 2004 as a Senior Process Engineer and worked their way up to Director of Operations. During their time at Boston Scientific, John achieved notable accomplishments, including sterilizing $9 million worth of products per day and executing a $16 million facilities upgrade to reduce emissions. John also demonstrated their leadership abilities by increasing team engagement by 11% and consistently meeting or exceeding all finance metrics. In 2023, John joined Gentuity, LLC as the Vice President of Operations.
John Kummailil earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering with a focus on Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
