Lorna Mackie is an experienced professional in strategy and business management, currently serving as the Director of Strategy at genU since October 2024. Prior to this role, Lorna held the position of Head of Strategy Management at Activ Foundation from January 2023 to October 2024. Additionally, Lorna was Acting Executive Director of Strategy and Performance Accountability at the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries during a secondment from November 2021 to January 2023. Lorna's career includes significant roles such as General Manager of Business Engagement for the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety in Western Australia, Lead Consultant at AOT Consulting Pty Ltd, and various consulting and management positions at Leicon Notley, HBOS Australia, Standard Life Investments, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Royal Bank of Scotland Business. Lorna holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and has further education from Curtin University.
