David Nagel

David Nagel is the current Chief Information Security Officer at Genuine Parts Company. Prior to this, they were with Apperian, An Arxan Company, as Director from August 2015 to July 2016. From November 2013 to March 2019, David Nagel served as President of Atlanta Chapter for The VMI Alumni Association, Inc. David's responsibilities included handling planning and activities for the VMI Atlanta Chapter while facilitating information for alumni, new cadets, current cadets and future cadets. From November 2002 to September 2015, David Nagel worked as Manager of National Security and Justice for IBM. And before that, from July 2001 to November 2002, they were a Consultant for AMS.

David Nagel has a Executive Certificate in Cybersecurity: The Intersection of Policy and Technology from Harvard Business School Executive Education, an Executive Leadership certificate in Organizational Leadership from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, and a Leadership Certificate in Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare from the Georgia Institute of Technology. David also has a Bachelor's degree from the Virginia Military Institute and certification from IBM in IBM Sales Certification.

David Nagel reports to Paul D. Donahue, President & CEO. They are on a team with Carol Yancey - EVP, CFO, Rob Milstead - Chief Information Officer (Interim), and Todd Nowicki - VP, Automotive Supply Chain.
