Jeremy R. Story

Jeremy R. Story, CPA, CIA has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Jeremy R. began their career as an Accounting Tutor at Augusta State University in 2011. Jeremy R. then worked as a Route Leader for Bike & Build before obtaining a position as a Staff Auditor at Nichols, Cauley, & Associates, LLC in 2013. Jeremy R. later joined Cherry Bekaert LLP as a Staff Accountant and was promoted to the role of Senior Accountant. In 2016, they transitioned to Newell Brands where they worked as a Corporate Accountant and later as a Senior Auditor, focusing on Global SOX Compliance. In 2018, they joined BlueLinx Corporation as an Internal Audit Manager before moving to Genuine Parts Company in 2019. At Genuine Parts Company, they have held various roles including Internal Audit Manager for the Automotive Parts Group, Internal Audit Manager for Global SOX Compliance, and currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit. Through their roles, Jeremy has gained valuable expertise in internal audit, compliance, accounting, and leadership.

Jeremy R. Story, CPA, CIA received their Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Augusta State University in the period of 2003 to 2011. Jeremy R. then pursued their Master of Accountancy degree at Georgia Southern University from 2012 to 2013. Jeremy R. Story obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the Georgia State Board of Accountancy in December 2013 and their Certified Internal Auditor certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in December 2014.
