Nathan Wong

Nathan Wong has a diverse work experience. Nathan started their career as a Support Analyst 1 at WAND Corporation in 2019. Later, they worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Stratasys. In 2020, after completing their M.S. in IT Management, they joined Genus Technologies as a Support Engineer. Nathan then became an Associate Support Engineer and provided support for Kofax and Media Upshot customers. Nathan also designed and implemented enterprise software solutions and created technical documentation for customers. Prior to that, Nathan worked as an Operations Manager at Sol Mates Boat Charters, where they managed inventory and supervised the crew members. Additionally, they owned their own photography business called Nathan Wong Photography. Nathan also has experience in the scuba diving industry, working as an Open Water Instructor at Scuba Schools International and Superior Expeditions. Nathan also worked as a Regulator & Rebreather Service Technician at Poseidon Diving Systems AB and as a Service Technician at Mares. Nathan is a certified Open Water Scuba Instructor by PADI.

Nathan Wong has a diverse education history. Nathan obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in IT Management from Concordia University-St. Paul in 2023. Before that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Information Technology Infrastructure from the University of Minnesota in the years 2014 to 2018. Prior to their bachelor's degree, Nathan attended SUNY Westchester Community College from 2012 to 2014, where they studied Computer Science, but did not obtain a degree.

In addition to their formal education, Nathan has also pursued various certifications. In 2020, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals through Microsoft, and also obtained an AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification from Linux Academy. Nathan further enhanced their qualifications with a Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certification granted by (ISC)² in April 2023. Nathan is currently a candidate for another certification offered by (ISC)².
