Vaughn Walton

Vaughn Walton currently serves as the Deputy Company Secretary at Genus PLC since January 2019, previously holding the interim role within the same company. Prior to this position, Vaughn was the Deputy Company Secretary at Severn Trent from August 2016 to October 2018 and worked as the Principal Advisor - Governance at Rio Tinto between November 2012 and August 2016. Vaughn's career in corporate governance began at GlaxoSmithKline as the Assistant Company Secretary - Corporate Governance from June 2011 to November 2012. Education includes an LLB(Hons) in Law, French Law, and French from the University of Liverpool, completed between 1998 and 2002, as well as training at The College of Law, York from 2002 to 2004.
