Lucas Huntimer

Lucas Huntimer is a seasoned professional in veterinary microbiology and immunobiology, currently serving as Chief Science Officer at Genvax since October 2024. With a strong background at Elanco since December 2012, Lucas has held positions including Senior Research Scientist-Project Leader, where responsibilities included leading global food animal research on innovative vaccines and immune biologics technologies. Previous roles include Principal Scientist, where Lucas managed clinical trials and cross-functional teams, and Senior Advisor at Rumin8 prior to that. Lucas began their career as a Quality Control Scientist at Novartis Animal Health US, Inc., focusing on process development and quality control of food animal vaccines.
