Carol Chen

Carol Chen, CFA, has extensive experience in commercial real estate finance, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Commercial Real Estate at Genworth Financial since 2014. In this role, Carol leads teams responsible for origination, structuring, underwriting, credit risk, portfolio management, and workout strategies for commercial real estate mortgage investments across the United States. Prior to Genworth Financial, Carol held the position of Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Credit at PB Capital, where responsibilities included managing a portfolio of $3.4 billion in commercial real estate debt. Carol's earlier career included roles as Director in Real Estate Capital Markets at Barclays Capital and Commercial Real Estate Credit at UBS Investment Bank. Carol is an alumnus of Cornell University.
