Harvey Hyungmin Kim

Harvey Hyungmin Kim, FSA, CFA, is an accomplished actuarial professional currently serving as AVP Senior Actuary at Genworth since January 2024. With extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) projection, capital planning, and asset liability management (ALM), Harvey has held various senior roles at Genworth, including Cash Flow Projection Leader AVP & Senior Actuary, where leadership of a team of four was a key responsibility. Prior to this, roles included Actuarial AVP at Sagicor Life Insurance Company USA, Assistant Actuary at John Hancock Financial Services, and teaching assistant in actuarial courses at Columbia University. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University, complemented by service as a Sergeant in the US Army.
