LAKSHMAN KUMAR NARAYANAN has been working in the software engineering field since 2004. From 2004-2005, they worked as a Software Engineer at Amoeba Telecom, where they worked on a Session Border Controller and was involved in the integration of Radvision H323 protocol stack. From 2005-2014, they worked at Cisco Systems, first as a Technical Lead and then as a Principal Member of Technical Staff. During this time, they worked on NPU-Subsystem Maintenance in ASR5K/ASR5.5K Platform, designed an optimization of npu-flow tables between application tasks and npu, and worked on Optical Line cards. From 2014-2017, they worked at Alcatel-Lucent as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the GTP signaling module of Nokia/Alcatel-lucent's Evolved Packet Core Gateway. From 2017-2022, they worked at Aryaka Networks as a Software Architect and Principal Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Software Architect at GXC.

Lakshman Kumar Narayanan obtained a Higher Secondary School Certificate from Lisieux, Coimbatore in the field of Maths/Science between 1998 and 2000. LAKSHMAN KUMAR then went on to earn a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Anna University, Guindy Engineering College, Chennai in Electronics and Communications between 2000 and 2004. In 2008, they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Additionally, they obtained a Cisco Networking Basics certification from Coursera in May 2020, as well as Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 and Part 2 certifications from Coursera in June 2016 and February 2016 respectively.
