Simon Gudina

Simon Gudina is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in geotechnical and structural instrumentation. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at GEO-Instruments since April 2018, Simon is responsible for scoping, installation, and monitoring of various geotechnical projects in Southern California. Previously, as a Project Manager at Morgner Construction Management Corp., Simon managed aspects of the Westside Purple Line Extension Project, overseeing quality control and data management for a range of geotechnical instruments. Simon's career includes roles as a Geotechnical Engineer at Stantec Consulting Ltd., where contributions were made to over 50 infrastructure projects, and as a Senior Staff Engineer at Geosyntec Consultants, involving geotechnical investigations and design recommendations. Simon's early career included research at Queen's University focused on geosynthetics and impactful engineering evaluations in Germany. Simon holds degrees from Queen's University, the University of Alberta, and Leibniz Universität Hannover.
