Meysam Roodi

Meysam Roodi has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Meysam is currently working as a Principal Member Of Technical Staff/ FPGA Emulation Lead at GEO Semiconductor, Inc. since February 2020. Before that, they served as a Senior Staff Engineer at Huawei from May 2016 to February 2020. Prior to their time at Huawei, Meysam worked as a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm from 2013 to 2016. Meysam also held the role of Senior ASIC Design Engineer- Technical Lead at Fresco Microchip from 2011 to 2013. Meysam's earlier experience includes being a Senior R&D Engineer- Engineering Manager at Wolf Industrial Systems from 2008 to 2011, as well as an ASIC Design Engineer at AMD from 2007 to 2008.

Meysam Roodi pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Meysam completed their Bachelor's degree at the University of Tehran from 1997 to 2002. Meysam then furthered their studies at the University of Toronto, where they obtained a Master of Science degree from 2004 to 2006. Continuing their academic journey, Meysam Roodi received a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from the University of Toronto between 2015 and 2020, specializing in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
