Rombout Verwimp is a co-founder of GEO Solutions, where responsibilities encompass a strong interest in agriculture, nature conservation, and forest management since September 2005. Rombout has extensive experience in GEO-ICT, evolving into a Senior GEO-ICT expert role that integrates technical insights with business knowledge, focusing on GEO-ICT architecture and business analysis. Previous positions include Senior GIS expert at the Development Bank of South Africa from July 2004 to August 2005, and GIS expert roles at VLIR, KU Leuven, SADL, and Ground for GIS from 1998 to 2004. Rombout holds a degree in Bio-engineering, specializing in land and forest management from KU Leuven.
