Donna Roper-Roach

Donna Roper-Roach has over 30 years of experience in a variety of IT roles, including as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Oakwood University. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring a distinctive graduate curriculum and maintaining an engaging online learning environment. Donna also collaborates with academic technology managers and program directors to deliver quality online learning resources.

Prior to their current role, Donna worked at GEO Specialty Chemicals, Inc. where they established and led the corporate IT Department and Data Center. Donna'sresponsibilities included implementing a network infrastructure across multiple locations and providing centralized system support. Donna also served as a Senior Advisor in Project Management, Strategy, and Planning.

Donna also has experience as an Engineer at Huntsville City Schools and as a Systems Analyst at Syntex - BCD. Additionally, they are the Principal Consultant at Roper-Roach Consulting Services, where they strategically guide clients through project management processes.

Donna Roper-Roach holds a Master's degree in Education from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, completed between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Oakwood University from 2014 to 2016. In 1986 to 1988, they attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where they studied Information Technology. Donna also holds a Master's degree in Business from Andrews University, completed from 1984 to 1986. Donna Roper-Roach obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Ball State University, earned between 1977 and 1979. Additionally, they pursued a Doctor of Arts degree in Theology at the Interdenominational Theological Center, although no start or end year for this degree is provided.
