Adham Elmahdy

Adham Elmahdy currently serves as the Sustainability Director and Geocycle General Manager at Lafarge Egypt since December 2023, focusing on the company's goal to achieve Net Zero by 2050 and meet intermediate 2030 targets aligned with the Paris Agreement. Prior to this role, Adham has held several key positions including General Manager at Geocycle Egypt and Country Health, Safety, and Environment Director at LafargeHolcim. Adham's extensive experience includes leading operations, financial management, strategic development, and sustainability initiatives across multiple companies in the cement and waste management sectors. Adham's educational background includes a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University, Project Management Diploma from The American University in Cairo, and various professional certificates focused on sustainable development and climate change. Additionally, Adham has made significant contributions to the independent film industry in Egypt through founding and organizing various film festivals and workshops.
