Sophie Wu

Sophie Wu is an experienced leader in the construction and environmental sectors, currently serving as the Head of Geocycle North America and Head of Geocycle Canada within the Holcim Group since April 2018. With a solid background at Holcim from June 2005 to March 2018, Sophie held various roles including Head of Strategy & Merger & Acquisition for Lafarge Canada, Marketing Director, and International Trading & Strategy Manager for the Asia Pacific region. Prior experience includes serving as Business Development & Operation Manager at Veolia Water Technologies and Supervisor of Quality Assurance at Holcim. Sophie holds a Master’s Degree in EMBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Wuhan University of Technology.
