Walter McGee

Walter McGee has a rich work experience spanning various industries. Walter started their career as a Customer Service Consultant - Sales at Rogers Communications in 2005 and later worked as an English Teacher at KNS Language Institute from 2006 to 2008. In 2007, they joined Fe Hou Communications Co. Ltd. as a 1st Assistant Camera Operator. Moving forward, they worked as a Production Helper at the Royal Canadian Mint from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, they had a brief stint as a GIS Consultant / Co-op Team Member at The Municipality of Centre Hastings.

Their longest tenure was at GeoDigital, where they held several roles over the years. Walter initially served as an Operations Desk Coordinator from September 2011 to January 2012, then transitioned to an Operations Planning Coordinator from January 2012 to June 2015. From June 2015 to April 2022, they held the position of Sr. AO Project Lead / GIS Coordinator, where they played a crucial role in refining project parameters and plans, serving as a point person for acquisition matters, and collaborating with various internal departments for project completion and integration. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Operations Analyst at GeoDigital from April 2022 onwards.

Walter McGee completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1999 to 2004, they attended Wilfrid Laurier University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, Sociology/History. Walter then pursued further studies at the Geomatics Institute at Fleming College from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in GIS - Cartography.
