Zachary K.

Zachary K. has a diverse range of work experience. Zachary began their career at Kennesaw State University, where they worked as a Program Assistant for the China Study Abroad program in 2015 and as a Student Assistant in the Division of Global Affairs in 2016.

In 2017, Zachary worked as a GIS Research Assistant at Kennesaw State University, where they utilized Big Data and Data Analytics to crowdsource information for a project analyzing the political and legal systems of contemporary China. Zachary applied geospatial analysis techniques to map the regions' varying trends.

Zachary then interned at Cobb County Government in 2018, where they participated in projects preparing the county's GIS for the 2018 ESRI UC Plenary Session. Zachary collaborated with other organizations to create a detailed 3D LiDAR scan of Suntrust Park and worked on data sets connecting Big Data, geospatial analysis, online mapping, and drone surveying. Zachary also used Survey123 and the Collector App to aid in a machine-learning algorithm for the county's traffic operations center.

Most recently, Zachary worked at GeoDigital in 2019. Zachary first served as a Software Support Consultant and later transitioned to a Software Delivery Consultant role. GeoDigital is an Atlanta-based company that utilizes 3D data, remote sensor, and spatial intelligence technologies to connect critical infrastructure with people, cars, and machines. Zachary's mission at GeoDigital was to drive safety, reliability, productivity, and innovation in the 3D virtual world.

Zachary K. completed their education at several institutions. Zachary obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography from Kennesaw State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they also participated in a study abroad program at The University of Georgia in 2016, focusing on Discover Abroad. In 2015, they also studied at Shanghai International Studies University and received a certification in Chinese Language and Culture.

Zachary K. continued their education at Kennesaw State University, where they earned a GIS certificate in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from 2015 to 2018.

Additionally, Zachary K. obtained various certifications throughout their education. These include certifications such as "Creating Python Scripts for Raster Analysis," "Python Scripting for Geoprocessing Workflows," and "Python for Everyone" from Esri in 2018. Zachary also received a Student Basic Course certification from CITI Program, a division of BRANY, in 2017.
