Matthias Hansen

Matthias Hansen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Matthias started their career at a. hartrodt (GmbH & Co) KG in 1985 as a student sales manager and airfreight manager, where they worked until 1991. From 1992 to 1993, they served as the assistant to the Board of Directors at Rohde & Liesenfeld Gmbh &CoKG. Hansen then moved on to become the Managing Director of Rohde & Liesenfeld SA, Argentina from 1993 to 1998. Matthias continued their career at the same company and held the role of Regional Sales Director for Latin America and Regional Director for the Western Hemisphere until 2002. From 2003 to 2007, they served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Rohde & Liesenfeld Group of Companies. Matthias then held the position of RVP Centraleurope, Middle East, South Africa from 2008 to 2009 and was subsequently promoted to Managing Director of Germany and Central Europe from 2009 to 2014. Following this, they became RVP Europe, Middle East & Africa from 2015 to 2018. Matthias'smost recent position is Senior Vice President Global Ocean Freight at GEODIS, which they have held since May 2018.

Matthias Hansen obtained a degree in Betriebswirtschaft from WA Hamburg between the years 1985 and 1988.
