Shibu Raj

Shibu Raj has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shibu started their career at US Technology Resources in 1999, where they worked as a Senior Business Analyst and Software Engineer. Shibu managed projects, led a team of developers, and facilitated company growth by recruiting and training technical personnel. In 2003, they transitioned to the role of Senior IT Consultant, Project Leader, and Application Architect, where they oversaw application development projects for International Truck and Engine Corporation. Shibu managed the entire software development lifecycle, including solution architecture, systems analysis, design, development, maintenance, and support.

In 2007, Shibu Raj joined Direct General Insurance as Director of Application Development. Shibu was responsible for driving corporate application development, managing a team of programmers, and overseeing a substantial budget. Shibu also took on the role of Application Manager and Enterprise Architect, where they further improved the quality and efficiency of application development through technology roadmap management and the implementation of custom software development methodologies.

Most recently, Shibu Raj has been working at GEODIS since 2011. Shibu started as Sr. Director of Corporate Systems and later progressed to the roles of Vice President and Sr. Vice President of Information Technology. Their responsibilities in these positions are not specified, but it can be inferred that they played a key leadership role in the IT department, overseeing technology initiatives and strategy.

Shibu Raj has a diverse education history. Shibu obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from DePaul University, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) from Madurai Kamaraj University from 1999 to 2002.

Before pursuing their computer science degrees, Shibu Raj completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering. Shibu studied at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam, and Mahatma Gandhi University from 1994 to 1998.

Additionally, Shibu Raj has acquired several certifications over the years. These include certifications in leadership excellence, dealing with ambiguity, and executive leadership from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management. Shibu has also received certifications such as Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and Certified SQL Programmer from Oracle, among others.
