James Shelton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and intelligence analysis. Currently serving as Principal Systems Engineer at Parsons Corporation since July 2016, Shelton provides strategic systems engineering for the Missile Defense Agency's programs, while also supporting Small Business Innovative Research initiatives to advance missile defense technologies. Simultaneously, Shelton holds the position of Treasurer on the Board of Directors for GEOHuntsville, a non-profit organization promoting geospatial capabilities in Alabama. Prior to these roles, Shelton had a distinguished 33-year career at the Central Intelligence Agency, culminating in senior positions such as Technical Director for Targeting & Technical Analysis, where strategic advice was provided to the Director of National Intelligence. Shelton holds a Master of Science in Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University.
