Balakrishnan A is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. Currently serving as Executive Director at Geojit Financial since August 2018 and as CEO of Geojit Technologies since January 2009, Balakrishnan has been pivotal in driving sustainable growth and profitability while overseeing a CMMI Level 5 company specializing in native application development for Android, iOS, and Windows. Previously, Balakrishnan was the Chief Technology Officer at Geojit BNP Paribas from 1998 to 2011, where significant contributions were made in establishing IT infrastructure to foster product and channel innovations, including the launch of online trading in India in 2000 and mobile trading in 2010. Balakrishnan holds a PGCPM in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Post Graduation in Computer Science from the University of Kerala.
