Elina Heininen

Elina Heininen is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since March 2021, focusing on organizational communication and hybrid work improvements. Previously, Elina worked as a Communications and Event Manager at Sauna from Finland, where responsibilities included strategic communications and international event coordination. Elina also held positions as Chairwoman of the board for the communication subject association Parku ry and as a Research Assistant at the University of Jyväskylä. Elina's early experiences include roles in conference assistance, personal care, and retail, alongside a background in dance instruction. Elina holds a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Jyväskylä and has studied at Utrecht University.
