Maija Lampela

Maija Lampela is a Senior Scientist at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since September 2022. Prior to this role, Maija served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National University of Singapore from March 2020 to September 2022 and worked as a researcher at the University of Helsinki from July 2011 to August 2022. Maija holds a Doctor's Degree in Forest Sciences and Biology, specializing in Peatland Ecology, obtained from the University of Helsinki between 2002 and 2019, and also possesses a Master's degree from Sibelius-Akatemia - Sibelius-Akademin.
