Petri Lintinen is a Senior Specialist at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since January 2020, following a distinguished career that includes serving as Director of Projects and Customers for GTK from March 2006 to December 2019, where responsibilities encompassed project portfolio management and customer services. Lintinen has also held the role of Program Director, overseeing Energy supply & environment and Land use & Construction studies, and managed the Land Use and Environment Division with key activities in groundwater and soil geochemistry, among others. Earlier experience includes tenure as Senior Scientist at GTK, focusing on soil contamination and environmental impact research, and serving as Project Manager during the Finnish Antarctic Research Programme. Lintinen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geology from the University of Helsinki.
