Brendon Lybbert

Brendon Lybbert has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Brendon is currently serving as a Project Manager at GeologicAI since April 2021. In their previous role as an Agricultural and Environmental Inspector at Rocky View County from May 2019 to November 2020, they fulfilled a contract. Before that, they worked as a Wellsite Geologist consultant for Suncor at Cabra Consulting Ltd. from January 2019 to March 2020. Brendon also has experience as a Junior Geologist at Technosol Engineering LTD. from August 2018 to October 2018. Prior to their geology roles, Brendon worked as a Lead Foreman in Carillion Canada Inc.'s Vegetation Control Division. During their six-year tenure from April 2012 to August 2017, they focused on safety, quality of work, equipment maintenance, surveying, and coordinating with government inspectors. Additionally, they have worked as a Detail Shop Manager at Zender Ford from October 2008 to October 2009, managing the department, ordering supplies, and supervising a team.

Brendon Lybbert obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Honours Petroleum Geology from the University of Calgary, where they attended from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their degree, Brendon also holds several certifications, including Wilderness Awareness Level I/II from Allstar Enviro Safety, OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO) from Energy Safety Canada, Suncor Safety Leadership Training from Suncor Energy, WHIMIS from Worksite Safety Compliance Centre, Utility Vehicle Training Course from Pioneer Offroad Rentals, Wilderness and Bear Awareness from ICEIS Safety, H2S Alive from Energy Safety Canada, Transportation of Dangerous Goods from Worksite Safety Compliance Centre, and Standard First Aid - Level C CPR & AED Recert (2016 Guidelines) from St. Johns Ambulance.
