Darlene J. Williams

Darlene J. Williams serves as the Governance and Awards Manager for the Geological Society of America, overseeing nomination processes and governance documentation. With extensive experience in the arts, Darlene has held significant roles such as Artistic Director and Executive Officer for the White Birch Ballet Company, founded Saskatchewan's only professional ballet company, and worked as a mentor and adjudicator in various dance education settings. Previous positions include Administrative Assistant roles at the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education and Parkinson Society Saskatchewan, and project management in cultural initiatives with SaskCulture. Darlene's foundational education includes a diploma in Applied Arts from Ryerson University and training from Fort Wayne Ballet.
