Kali Blevins has a wealth of work experience in data analytics, web design, marketing materials, laboratory management, data management, and landscape restoration. Kali began their career in 2006 as a Laboratory Technician and Teaching Assistant and Supervisor at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2007, they were a Landscape Restoration Intern at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. In 2008, they were an Independent Contractor at Boulder Language Technologies. From 2009 to 2017, they were a Senior Science Technician at NEON, Inc. where they managed activities for the headquarters laboratory, wrote SOPs, supervised technicians, created and maintained contractor work agreements, and created educational outreach materials. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Research Staff, Data Science & Laboratory Management at the Energy & Geoscience Institute, where they were brought in to streamline workflows and data management for the geochemistry lab. In 2017, they were a Founder at Avocet Analytics, providing data analytics with a focus on well-designed data presentation. Finally, in 2020, they became the Chief Technical Officer & Co-founder of Geolumina.

Kali Blevins received their Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Science and Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from The University of Texas at Austin in 2008. In October 2013, they also obtained a Computing for Data Analysis certification from Coursera.
