Abed El Rahman Hassoun

Abed El Rahman Hassoun is a highly qualified scientific researcher with extensive experience in oceanology and environmental studies. Currently serving at GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel since February 2022, Abed also holds a position as Research Associate at CNRS Lebanon since April 2015. Additional consultancy roles include positions at the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Ocean Frontier Institute. Abed's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Oceanology from Universitat de Perpignan Via Domitia, along with multiple master's and bachelor's degrees from Lebanese University in environmental studies and earth sciences.
