Nicky Oliver

Nicky Oliver is an accomplished Engineering Geologist with extensive experience in both academic and applied geology. Currently employed at the Department of Conservation since October 2019, Nicky also serves as a Research Geologist at GeoMechanics Technologies since June 2011, focusing on site characterizations for injection feasibility and developing geological models for carbon dioxide sequestration. Past experience includes a role as Senior Research Geologist at Oxy from June 2008 to May 2011, where Nicky honed well data organization skills and utilized advanced software for geological model construction. Nicky holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from California State University, Long Beach.
