Hernán Maretto has extensive experience in exploration and development geology, specializing in carbonates, silicoclastics, and unconventional resources. They have served as an unconventional development manager in the Neuquen Basin, Argentina, and as an exploration team leader in Brazil for five years. Hernán worked with both operated and non-operated assets, focusing on a variety of water plays and has significant expertise in the farm-in and bidding processes in Brazilian offshore projects. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Escuela Internacional de Negocios de América Latina. Currently, Hernán is the Director of Exploration at GeoPark.
