Fran Miller is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in geotechnical engineering. Since June 2005, Fran has served as the Region Engineer at Geopier, a division of CMC, where responsibilities encompass business development, feasibility evaluations, and the design of specialty geotechnical systems, particularly utilizing Rammed Aggregate Pier® (RAP) soil reinforcement systems. Prior to this role, Fran worked as a Project Engineer at Testing Service Corporation from January 1986 to June 2005, focusing on geotechnical investigations and design criteria for various foundation types. Fran began a career in engineering as a Design Engineer at Chicago Bridge and Iron from January 1982 to June 1985, gaining valuable experience in designing steel plate storage tanks and foundations. Fran holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, obtained between 1977 and 1981.
