Dave Alpert, MBA, FAIA

Dave Alpert, MBA, FAIA has a long and varied work experience. Dave began their career in 1995 as an Associate at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM). In 1998, they moved to Gensler as a Senior Project Manager. In 2000, they joined Kaiser Permanente as Principal of National Facilities Services, Strategy, Planning & Design. In 2007, they were recruited as Vice President of HGA, where they led the San Francisco office and grew the staff from 8 to 25. In 2012, they established and led the new San Francisco office of Jensen + Partners as Principal and Office Leader. In 2016, they took on the role of Managing Director at Shlemmer+Algaze+Associates, where they were responsible for interior architecture, landlord and tenant representation, and real estate due diligence. Finally, in 2017, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Geopogo, a company that allows users to create and review full-size virtual design mockups on-site and off-site.

Dave Alpert holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained between 1980 and 1985. Dave also holds an MBA from Golden Gate University, which they obtained between 1999 and 2000, with a field of study in Business/Commerce, General.
