GeoPool – your geological expertise for exploration in the Nordics

Exploring for minerals in the Nordics requires more than drills and data. It demands geological insight, local knowledge and trusted partnerships. That is where GeoPool comes in.

Since 2007, we have supported exploration and mining companies in the Nordic countries, helping them move from targets to discoveries with confidence. Today we offer a full range of exploration services, combining global experience with deep local knowledge of markets, languages and legislation.

Field services: geological mapping, sampling, core logging, drill core processing, trenching, soil and base-of-till sampling.

Permitting & communication: applications, extensions, transfers, landowner agreements, open-door events and stakeholder dialogue.

Expert services: prospectivity evaluation, structural geology, QAQC, database management, geological 3D modelling, resource estimation, GIS visualisations, project management, hyperspectral analysis and drill core imaging, petrology and mineralogy, and technical advisory.

Exploration Hub: Sodankylä facilities with advanced logging stations, hyperspectral imaging, soil sample logging, cutting, QAQC, density and point-load testing, plus secure storage and logistics.

Software solutions: as a Seequent Channel Partner, we provide Leapfrog Geo, Leapfrog Edge, MX Deposit and Imago, with hands-on support from geologists who use these tools in real projects.

Choosing GeoPool means faster start-ups, smoother permitting, reliable data and stronger stakeholder relations, reducing risk and improving outcomes.

Exploration should deliver value beyond the drill hole. We work responsibly, engage with communities and promote sustainability while contributing to best practices and international R&D in exploration.

We believe discoveries are made together. With our expertise and your goals, we build responsible Nordic exploration programs that deliver results for clients and society.
