Chris Browne is a freelance geotechnical engineer specializing in offshore wind, renewables, and oil and gas. They previously worked as a Senior DES Engineer at Halliburton, where they led drilling optimization projects, including the ExxonMobil Liza development and the Total Ofon project. Chris has also served as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Geoquip Marine, conducting ground investigations for various offshore projects in the USA and Europe, and recently worked on similar projects in Poland and the UK with Gardline Limited. They hold a BSC in Geology from Queen's University Belfast, earned between 1986 and 1989.
